Hey Everyone,

Grrrr.... I hate being sick! I've had to stay in the flat for the whole week because I had the cold! But no worries though; I feel loads better and look forward to the week ahead.

So in my scripture study, I've been reading about the Saviour's Sermon on the Mount. Truly inspiring and uplifting! I came across a verse in Matthew 5 which says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (v.16)" I pondered on how we can let our light shine without being boastful. We do good works without being prideful. As those who believe in Christ, we can truly help those in need without a worldly reward and people can see the light of Christ in us and we can come to know our Saviour and our Father in Heaven better. I promise as we do our best to live our lives as the Lord would see fit and help those around us, people will be drawn to you and you will have the chance to share your witness and testimony of the Saviour.

I hope you all have a great week! I love you all! :)

With Love,

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Terrence's blog

Hey Everyone!

So just to let you all know, I am still in Birkenhead for another transfer and I will be here till November 27th. So if you would like to send me a letter you can use the mission office or this address:

Elder Terrence Taylor
Flat #10 Queen's Court

Oxton, Wirral
Cheshire CH43 6TE
England, U.K.

So these past two weeks have been pretty rough for me with a cold, changes in the Zone and just striving to do my best. I have to be honest; missionary work is difficult. It taxes one's energy, it strains one's capacity and it demands one's best effort. There are times where I do want to give up. But something that keeps me going is my scripture studies, my prayers (and the prayers of those who pray for me in my behalf), my family and friends (especially those on missions as well), my mission president and the MOST IMPORTANT people: My Heavenly Father and My Saviour Jesus Christ. These are things that sustain me and keep me going! I have been reading in Matthew 26 about the last few days of the Saviour's life. Before His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, I read how He was already feeling very sorrowful. It has come to me that the Saviour, right at that moment, has felt the sorrow that I have and will feel in this life. It gives me so much comfort to know that the someone has done that for me. I also love reading in Alma 7 where it explains why he went through those things for us: "And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind... that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people...," (Alma 7:11-12). :)

I just want to thank you all for your prayers in my behalf, your love and your friendship. I love you all dearly and count you all as huge blessings in my life. Trust in God and wait for His timing in all things. These thoughts I leave with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey Everyone!

WHOOOOOOAAAA!!!!!! Conference was amazing! I've truly enjoyed listening to all of the speakers! I truly feel energized for the next 6 months! Also transfers are next week so I will keep you posted if I stay or not.

I would have to say that my favorite talks would have to be by Elder Edward Dube of the Seventy who spoke about pressing forward in the Lord's work and Elder Richard G. Scott about the Atonement! Elder Dube's short story about when he was a boy working in the field with his mother and he marvelled at the work that they have done. He then exclaimed to his mother, "Look what we have done (3 times)?" His mother then reminded him to look at what they have left to do still. I truly thought about how that short story applied to me as a missionary. I sometimes fall into the trap of saying "Look at all the things that I've done so far!" and then the Lord would say, "Don't look back at what you done, focus on the tasks that you still need to do!" What a great talk! Elder Scott's talk about the Atonement was SO GOOD! It is so comforting to know that through the Saviour's Atonement, I can be protected from my weaknesses and become more fortified as a son of God! I LOVE CONFERENCE!

I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the LIVING GOD! I know that He has a prophet on the earth today: President Thomas S. Monson! I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can truly give us that peace in our lives! I know that the Saviour's invitation "Come unto me" will ALWAYS be there for ALL of God's children (EXCLAMATION POINT) In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey Everyone,

Thank you again for the birthday wishes! My mom told me many of you wrote or told her to wish me a happy birthday! For that I am grateful! :) Also Lisa Tenney I got your letter and I will be writing you as soon as I can! :)

So this week was pretty good and really busy! So remember I wrote about Dan last week.... so he actually ditched out on us and we weren't able to reach him! GRRRRRrrr..... all well keep pressing forward. Other than that, we've had great success with our other investigators! Also the Bishop and his counselors have been helping us in our missionary work here in the area! They have prayed and fasted for a few areas that we will be working in. We received the appointed areas on Sunday and now we will be doing our best to constantly do work in those areas! We can't wait to see the miracles that will happen as we work in the areas we have been asked to work in! I love being apart of this work and the Holy Spirit that dwells within me!

I know that this work is true and that it is the work of Almighty God and that no unhallowed hand can stop the work! As Conference time comes around let us be spiritually prepared to receive what the Lord would have us do to better our lives! How I love my Saviour Jesus Christ! These truths I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! :)

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey Everyone!

So this week has been great! So many great things are happening here in Birkenhead! Let me share a miracle that happen to us a few days ago:

So the first week we were here we spoke to this man named Dan on the train on his way to Moreton! We spoke to him, gave him a Book of Mormon and gave him a pass along card with our number on there. After he left, we realized that we had the wrong number on there! We were so frustrated! We thought all was lost but then we realized that we may see him again or he may get on the mormon.org website so we were at peace. Then just a few days ago we were on a bus going to contact an Investigator. We then saw Dan get on the bus!!!! We greeted him friendly and asked how he was doing! He said he was doing well! We then asked him if he read the Book of Mormon and he said he did and that he read half of it already!!!!! He then said he was trying to phone us but it wasn't the right number and then we told him we also realized that we gave him the wrong number. We then gave him our correct number and set up a time to meet with him this week!!!! WHAT A MIRACLE!!!!!

I know that the Lord is truly preparing people to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ at this very moment and that we can truly be that way of having people come unto Him! This I leave with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! :)

Hey Everyone!

So last week has been so good and I am looking forward to this week! We will be having a Skills Workshop in Manchester that we will be going to! :) Can't wait to sharpen my skills as a missionary!

Last week was really good! It is such a nice area that I am serving in! The members take care of us and make sure that we are fine. Me and Elder Razanadahy are finding great people and teaching amazing folks! The Lord has truly blessed us! The work here in Moreton is going pretty well! We are seeing great miracles happen and we keep praying for miracles to happen!

I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He loves us! He gave his life for us so that we can live also! I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son and called him to be a prophet to do a great and marvellous work on the earth! I am grateful to be the Lord's representative here in Great Britain; I've come to know my Saviour better and have grown in testimony of Him. Words cannot describe my feelings about the Saviour. How I love my Saviour Jesus Christ. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! :)

With Love,

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Thursday, September 5, 2013

Hey everyone!

So I am officially in my new area which is called Birkenhead which is right on the Irish Sea and right across from Liverpool! My new companion's name is Elder Razanadahy(say that 5 times fast) from Madagascar! We are whitewashing this area! I really like it so far! My birthday is coming up on the 25th of September so if you would like to send me a letter you could send it to the mission office (if it is a package it can ONLY be sent to the office) or you can write me at the following address:

Elder Terrence Taylor
Flat #10 Queen's Court
65-67 Shrewsbury Rd.
Oxton Wirral, Cheshire CH43 6TE
England, U.K.

I cannot believe how fast time is going on my mission! It has made me realize how valuable time is in the service of the Lord and that I should not waste any time out here to bring others to Christ! In my scripture studies, I've been studying about Courage. One account that always sticks out to me is the account with the Shepard boy David and the Giant Goliath which is found in 1 Samuel 17. If you haven't read it I suggest you do! David showed courage by stepping up to Goliath in the name of the Lord. David's response to Goliath is so thrilling to me: "Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day the will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand...that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.(v. 45-47)" As David did we too with the Lord's help conquer any 'giant' obstacles, trials and pains we face in this world. I know that to be true and this I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey everyone!

So last week we went on a Church History tour as a mission! It was such a wonderful experience to go and see some of the Church History Sites in Liverpool, Preston and Downham! Such a wonderful time we had! We also had the chance to have trainings in the St. Leonard Chapel where Elder Heber C. Kimball and Elder Joseph Fielding taught a few people there! What a spiritual experience that was! The Lord has blessed me to come to this mission; I love my mission!

A scripture that I've come to love has been D&C 68:4! This is a promise to missionaries (Full Time or Life Time) that follow the promptings of the Spirit and are then moved upon by the Spirit! POWER! That is something for you all to ponder!

Also transfers are next Wednesday! I will know where I will be by this Friday or Saturday! I will keep you all posted! Take care for now! :)

Love,

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey Everyone!
Last week was a pretty good week! We have a new investigator by the name of Julia! She is in her 60's and she has a love for God and for her community! The Sisters who serve with us had a baptism that was suppose to happen but their investigator was afraid and wanted to have more time to prepare; but gathering together wasn't in vain. We invited Julia to come to the baptismal service and she came. Since the baptism wasn't happening, we decided to take her on a little tour around the chapel. She loved it! When we showed her the Bishop's office, she went in, gazed at the picture of the Savior and started to tear up! We knew that she felt the Spirit and that the Spirit testified to her that Jesus is the Christ! What a miracle that was! Also last Sunday (yesterday) me and the other full time missionaries prepared talks on 'The Gospel Rolling Forth in THIS LAND'. The Spirit was in rich abudance among us! Sister Martin, a missionary from Canada, spoke with boldness and sharpness about how the preaching of the Gospel and the work should NOT be shouldered on 4 young foriegners wearing name badges ONLY but all of us should shoulder the work together. I had the privilege to sing Hymn #220 Lord I Would Follow Thee. After the musical item, I then had my opportunity to speak to the Telford Ward. I began to be moved upon by the Holy Ghost to convey the same message that all the full time missionaries conveyed but with emotion. I hope and pray that they may 'Catch the Wave' of missionary work.
I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ! I know that this Church is true and that it is led by Christ himself and has chosen Prophets, Seers and Revelators to guide us in these latter days! I am so grateful that I have found this knowledge, that I have found the kingdom of God on the earth and eternally grateful that true lifelong missionaries shared with me their beliefs! We are all apart of a great and marvellous work! May God continue to bless you and keep you! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey everyone!
So I wanted to say to the University Ward thank you for the letters! They were truly inspiring and I look forward to seeing you all again when I've concluded my labors here!
So last Thursday was when I've officially reached my year mark in the mission and how did I celebrate it: By having living Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, Elder Russell M. Nelson and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, come to our mission to address us!!! What a privilege and a blessing to have been in the same room as these Brethren!
Before they came in, I anxiously sat in my seat awaiting the arrival of these Brethren. I think everyone was very anxious! Then the time came; the doors that lead into the Man. South chapel opened wide, we stood up with haste to show respect for the authrity that they carried. Everything got silient; no piano playing, nothing! As I caught sight of these magnificient Brethren, I felt the Spirit witness to me that these men are called of God! They got to the stand and then looked out at us. Elder Nelson then smiled and said, "Thank you for comign today. You all look so good!," As he sat down we sat. My soul rejoiced as I cherished this moment; to be in the same room with Prophets, Seers and Revelators as Elder Nelson and Elder Holland! As these Brethren spoke, it was like the dew from heaven. Then in two short hours, the meeting was over, the time was far spent. We then rose up to show deep abiding respect for these Brethren travelling all this way to come see us. We all watched these servants of the Lord walk out the chapel. The pianist played 'God Be With You Till We Meet Again'. A few Elders started to sing along with it and then the whole mission in the chapel started to sing. Tears could not be restrained from my eyes and from the eyes of others. I truly felt the Spirit warming my soul to the very core!
I bear you my testimony that I know that I had the privilege and blessing to sit at the feet of Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. I know that God lives and that He is our Heavenly Father! As it says in the Book of Mormon: "...ye may know that he is by the power of the Holy Ghost." (Moroni 10:7). I know that I am a son of God and of eternal worth. I testify that what I said is true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey everyone!
Thank you for the encouragement and for your prayers; they truly sustain me. This week has been so good! I am loving it! The members here are truly 'Catching the Wave' of missionary work and we have seen miracles come! Truly the Lord has heard our prayers and has blessed us ten fold!
So this week is pretty jam packed with different things going on: We have a Zone meeting on Tuesday and all full Mission Conference in Manchester! I am so excited for both of these including the one in Manchester! Due to the fact that Elder Russel M. Nelson and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland are coming to speak to us! This is my first time meeting living Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ! AH! I am so excited! I will prepare myself spiritually to hear the message of them and also others who will address us!
I know that this is the work of Almighty God and that His timing is ALWAYS perfect... ALWAYS! I pray that I will continue to trust in the Lord and do what He would have me do for the His children here in Great Britain! These truths I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey Everyone!
So found out that I am staying in Telford for another transfer! I can't believe that I've already been out a year! Time passes by so quickly when you are in the Lord's service! Also we found out on Monday that we are having a Mission Wide Conference! But this is the best part: We will be having Apostles of the Lord come to our Conference!!!! Elder Jeffrey R. Holland & Elder Russel M. Nelson!!!! I am so excited to meet these wonderful brethren! This will be my first time meeting and seeing actual Apostles in the flesh!!!! Our misson is truly blessed! Now I have to prepare myself spiritually to hear the message of these great men and be able to apply what I learn from them!
What a great time to be a missionary in this age! I count myself as truly blessed to be apart of this work! I love this Church and this Gospel so very much and I am honored to be His authorized servant in these latter-days! Take care for now and may the Lord bless you and keep you!

1) So British! :)

2) The view from the Iron Bridge

3)Like a Sir! :)

Hey everyone!
Before I start I want the Mabry's and Rebekah Layton to know that I will write you all ASAP! So next week is another transfer down! I cannot believe how fast this transfer has gone! Life on a mission just passes by too quickly! Also if you are too lazy to write via snail mail you can email me at: terrencet@myldsmail.net
So last P-Day, our District went to go see the oldest Iron Bridge in the world which is in our area! It was pretty amazing! I love going to museums and famous sites! I love history and Great Britain is the best place for historians to go to! It was great to hang out with the district and just have fun with each other! Last week was pretty challenging though: so many appointments fell through. But that doesn't get me down at all; we went into our Area Book to call up Former Investigators and we set up an appointment with one of them this week! Talk about tender mercy! This week is going to be super busy but we love being busy; keeps us on our toes!
I've learned so much about scripture study this week; it gives me peace and understanding in my life! It is a great blessing that I am able to study the scriptures personally for an hour! It gives me hope that one day that I can dwell with my Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ again after this life! I challenge you all to start reading your scriptures daily! I promise you as you do, you will feel burdens be lightened and your desires to serve God increase! These truths I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey Everyone!

Hey Everyone!
So what a great week I had! Busy but so so good! Missionary work is just so amazing! So many great things are happening in Telford! My joy is truly full; I am a happy man!
So as you all know I had Zone Training and Interviews with the mission president! It was such an amazing experience that I had! I truly enjoyed being around my friends in the mission in this zone and also speaking with my mission president! Also I had a great time at the BBQ service that we did for the Relief Society! It was my first time BBQing on my mission! I truly enjoyed my time there serving others. Tomorrow we are going back up to Crewe for another Zone meeting and activity! I am totally excited for it! Helping others makes me feel so great, I truly have loved serving here in Great Britain
As a missionary, you truly feel the Savior's love for others and I can truly say that I love the people here in Telford; they are strong people who know what they want and strive to get it! I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and His love for me and for all of God's children. What a friend we have in Jesus! :) Well I hope you have a great week!

Hi All

Hey Everyone!
Well Happy early 4th of JULY for those in the Good ol' US of A!!!! I love that holiday so much but its ok; the ward is having a BBQ!!!! They aren't celebrating that but in my mind they are!
So this week has been so good: Me and Elder Greaves went with our ward choir to sing at a interfaith thing going on in Telford! It was SO GOOD to see other faiths that still believe in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ! They had a different way of praising the Lord but I enjoyed it! It is so amazing how people worship God in their own ways; it goes to show that there are still people out there who love God and Jesus Christ as much as I do! I was truly happy! Very friendly and a few actually asked us what our beliefs were and we bore our true testimony through the power of music! It was a great experience that I have had on my mission and will cherish it forever!
I know that Jesus Christ lives and that this work in which I am engaged in is true! I know that we can find true happiness in the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I love being a missionary and this I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Hey Everyone,
It is great to hear from all of you who wrote me are doing so well and enjoying the summer! Of course here summer never comes around; we've only had a few days of sunshine and now its windy, cold and rainy haha!
Well tomorrow, we have a Multi Zone Temple Conference in the morning in Chorley! We are so blessed to have a temple in our mission boudaries that we can go to to receive personal revelation from a loving Father in Heaven! I am travelling today to Manchester to stay over with the Office Elders and then in the morning drive up to Chorley! I am glad we just have to pay for the trip from Telford to Manchester One Way on the train otherwise we would of have to pay £75 to get a train both ways to Chorley! Truly a tender mercy HA!
I recently read in the Conference Ensign the talk given by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf which was entitled 'Four Titles'. I love this talk so much because it truly gave me a reminder of how I should look at myself of being and becoming someday! If you haven't read it yet I urge you all to read it no matter if you are a man or woman. You will receive so many 'spiritual nuggets'! Know that I love you all and hope that you all have a great week this week!

Hey Everyone,
So just to let you all know I am still in Telford! I am also training a new missionary fresh out of the Missionary Training Center (MTC)! I am honored to be able to serve with Elder Greaves; he is an amazing missionary and has so much potential to be a powerful missionary!
So the work is going pretty well here in Telford: The ward is so good, amazing scenery, nice people and just wonderful! I am so excited that I am still here another transfer! Great things are happening here: new ward missionaries, activity nights for everyone to come to and miracles. I often ponder about how do we see miracles whether if we are a missionary or just a person who follows Christ? I have learned that they can happen every single day as long as we are worthy enough to receive such a tender mercy! As a missionary we see miracles right and left each day and so can other disciples of Jesus Christ. They key is to constantly pray for them and seek the Lord in humility to have them happen to you.
This I know because the Lord loves us so much. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ lives! I know that we can truly be happy in this life as we strive to live the teachings of Jesus Christ as much as we can. We can then receive blessings and miracles! Talk to you all soon. I love you all!

1) Me on the path to the flat :)
2) British driving!
3) Yellow fields :)
4) Just me! :)
Hey everyone!
I can't believe these days are going by so fast for me; it seems like every transfer goes quicker and quicker than the next one lol!
Telford is such a great place! I enjoy being here; its so beautiful and green here! The members are wonderful as well! On Sunday I gave a talk on my conversion story to the ward. I truly felt the Spirit as I bore my testimony and shared my story with this great ward. So much that I became emotional at some parts of my talk (if you know me well, this shouldn't come as a surprise lol). The interesting thing is is that some of the people in there are converts to the Church as well and so they could picture in their minds their own conversion to the Gospel! What a beautiful experience that was.
This morning (Monday 27th of May) I was reading in 2 Nephi 3 really about Lehi telling his son Joseph about his ancestor Joseph in the Old Testament when he was in Egypt. He goes on to say how Joseph was shown their people, Joseph Smith and the last days (which we are in). I invite you all to read this great chapter; you may find great treasures for yourself as you do so.
Have a great week you all! I love you!
With Love,

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey Everyone,
So things are going well in my new area! The people here are great, the ward is very supportive and the work is progressing! Missionary work is the best! So many things happening!
So we went up to Stake Conference in Newcastle on Saturday the 18th! The talks given were so powerful and totally for me! A lady talked about how sometimes we want to do it our way instead of the Lord's way and also how we sometimes are down about ourselves when we come across trials in our lives. She was saying that we need to realize that the Lord puts us in situations that will only make us stronger! After pondering about that, I was reading in the Doctrine and Covenants Section 122 where the Prophet Joseph Smith was in Liberity Jail. There was a verse that hit me so strong which says: "The Son of Man hath descended above them all. Art thou greater than He?" The Spirit truly gave me correction there lol. Are we greater than He? I will answer with a NO!
I am so grateful for the Savior and His example! I know that as we count on our Father in Heaven's and Christ's help, we can do all things through them. I am grateful that we have a modern day prophet on the Earth at this time and because we have one, there is light on the earth once more. I hope you all have a great week this week!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey everybody!
What a crazy week this week! I love being a missionary and the chance that I have to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ here in the U.K. I was able to talk to my mother and my sisters for Mothers' Day on Sunday! What a great experience that was for me to talk to the best women in the world to me! :) I love them to bits!
Just to let you know that I have been transfered....AGAIN! I am now in a place called Telford. The mission office was good, BUT I was rooming with some missionaries who were completely disobedient to the mission rules. They went on a ferry ride whilst going to drop something off in the mission owned van which was paid by the tithes of the Church. I was so mad at them! I then told President Preston what they did and then decided to move out of there and head to another area. I love my new area because I am in a great ward and with an obedient missionary named Elder Bahr! He is such a great missionary! What I've learned on my mission alot about is being obedient to the commandments and mission rules! I am so grateful for them because they are there for our safety and happiness in this life! Also if you want you can send a letter to my Telford address or the mission office address. Here is the address:
Elder Terrence Taylor
77 Chepstow Drive
Leegomery
Telford, Shropshire TF1 6UP
England, U.K.
I am so grateful to be a member of this Church and to be a minister of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am grateful for my Heavenly Father and His Plan of Happiness! I am so touched by His tender mercies that He has given me in my life! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
With Love,

Hey Everyone!
I've been transferred! I am now in the City of Manchester serving as an Office Elder! It is so crazy to be in the mission office now! I am excited to serve in this way! Also if you have emailed me forgive me; I will reply I soon as I can! :)
I am so sad that I am not in the Crewe Ward anymore but I know the Lord needs me here to serve the people here and also the missionaries in the EMM! It is gonna be hectic in the office due to the fact of the 28 new missionaries coming in next transfer! So we need to set up new apartments and deliver loads of stuff! I am so excited for this new assignment! :)
I know that this work is true and that this is a lifesaving work! I am honored to be apart of this in a small way! I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and my friend! I know that He lives and because He lives, we will live also! This I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

1) Me in the flat :)
Hey everyone!
I cannot believe how fast this transfer has been. Next Wednesday is ALREADY TRANSFERS! And President Preston said that I will probably be moving lol! Well we shall see. If you would still like to drop me a line and say hey you can email me at terrencet@myldsmail.net. Don't be shy now!
So the recording went well! There was ten of us in the mission who were asked to sing for the EMM song! I was honored to be asked to help out with that project! We got to Liverpool at 5pm and left about 8:30 pm! It was so much fun! The mission has truly changed me and truly has blessed not only my life but my family's lives! Sometimes I wake up in the mornings every day and wonder if I can really do this. Then my scriptures every morning and have that reassurance that, as Paul said to the Phillipians and what my mom always says to me, "I can do ALL THINGS through Christ which strengthenth me." (Phillipians 4:13). I know you all have things that are required of you for your jobs or family obligations which you feel that you cannot do. Just remember with the help of your Savior Jesus Christ you can do it! Never forget it!
I am grateful for all of you and the love and prayers you freely give to not just me but to all the missionaries around the world. We couldn't go on without them! I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want all of you to know that His love is eternal for He lives eternally! No one is too far from His love! This I leave with you in His name, even Jesus Christ, our Savior and Reedemer, Amen!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey everyone!
Before I begin I just wanted to let The Mabry's, Britney Thompson, and Rebekah Layton know that I got your letters and will be replying back soon. Thank you so much for the letters, I love hearing from you all!
Well this coming week is going to be so CRAZY! On Friday I have training with the whole Zone and also interviews with President Preston (my mission president). I always love being with the other missionaries in this Zone and also having the chance to meet with my mission president one on one every three months. Then after that I am going up to Liverpool to record the England Manchester Mission Song with a few other missionaries in the mission! I am SO EXCITED for that! I am so glad to do the things I love to do to bless the lives of those around me! I love being a missionary for the Lord Jesus Chrsit!
I am so grateful for the prayers you have offered for me and other missionaries the world over! We need them constantly and feel them as well! I hope you all have a great week! Till next time!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey there!
I hope all of you are doing well and that things are going well for you! For me it is always busy! On the 3rd of April of 2012 (a year ago) I was assigned to my field of labor by the Prophet President Thomas S. Monson. What a reassurance for me and for anyone else who has received a call to serve from the Lord was truly inspired of God to where I was to go. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to be here with the British people and my chance to serve the Lord as a minister of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
So I hope that all of you have enjoyed listening to General Conference! I know I did! As a missionary, you get so much out of Conference and receive guidance from a loving Heavenly Father. One of the biggest themes of Conference for me were that 1) Satan will ALWAYS try to make us feel inadequate and 2) We must ALWAYS know our divine potential. The talk that hit home for me was President Utchdorf's talk in Priesthood. He talked about the 4 titles that Priesthood holders have. They are sons of God, disciples, healers of souls and heirs of the Kingdom of God. When he was talking something big stood out to me. He stated (and I paraphrase): "For those of you who feel unloved or inadequate I am sorry." He said it with great emotion. I truly felt that he was talking to me because I have felt these things in my life including the mission field. Another statement rang out to me as he went on: "Brethren, the adversary will always try to make us feel inadequate. Brethren, don't listen to him." I realized that I let Satan get the best of me at times. When I heard that talk I realized that the adversary can not budge my divine potential as a son of God and a brother of Jesus Christ. "Get thee hence Satan!" I am a son of God.
I testify that we are all sons and daughters of God and that we can become like He is someday: Perfect. I know that I am a son of God and that Jesus Christ is my Savior, Reedemer and friend! I know that we have living Prophets and Apostles who lead and guide The Church of Jesus Christ on Earth. I know that Satan is the world's greatest hater and always will be. Do not believe his lies. Always walk in the light which is Christ whom said: " I am the light and the life of the world". I share my testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

So many miracles are happening here in Crewe! First the investigator I was teaching on the Isle of Man named Rong got baptized last Saturday!!!! Ah my heart is full! He will do so great! Last Saturday we also had the privilege to find for 5 hours on Saturday and we found so many great people! We had about 4 lessons on the spot! Great things are happening! I want you to know that I know that my Savior lives and that His love is unconditional and His grace is for those you believe on Him and act upon their faith. As we prepare this week to listen to His prophet's voice and also His apostles and other leaders, we will be inspired from on high to act. I love General Conference! As a missionary you get so much from it!
Well continue to be amazing and I will speak to you all soon!

Hey everyone,
Before I begin I just want to let Sheyla and Laura C. know that I got your emails and will write back on Monday coming up. Also LAURA CARDY: OH MY WORD!!!!!!! YOU GOT BAPTIZED! AH! MY HEART IS FILLED WITH JOY WITH THAT NEWS! Also I am still in Crewe! I am FINALLY serving with someone from Arizona named Elder Palmer! He is a great missionary.
So my mission is doing a fast and finding activity this week! We will fast on Good Friday and find for 5 hours on Saturday. As I have been preparing myself for the fast and finding days, I have loved reading the last weeks of the life of the Savior. I have been deeply moved by the events on 'Passover Thursday'. I was deeply touched by Luke 22:41-44 when the Savior was in the Garden of Getsamene. The part that pricked me in the heart was when Christ was in pain (and I quote v.43), "there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him." I could not help but weep whilst reading it. I felt times before and during my mission where the Lord saw me struggle and feel distressed and He was there to strengthen me. Oh how I love my Savior Jesus Christ and His perfect sacrifice.
I know that Jesus Christ lives! I know that He is the author of our salvation and the Great Mediator for us with the Father! He is the life and light of the world where if we turn to we can never go wrong!
Thank you all for the constant prayers in my behalf for I have truly felt them and have given me strength. I love you all very much and will have you all in my prayers. Continue to smile and thank God for sending His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and was resurrected to show us that as we keep the commandments, that we too will be resurrected.
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey everyone!
Just to remind you: You can now email me if you like! My email address is terrencet@myldsmail.net. So if you want you can email and I will try my best to respond!
So next week is transfers and this week is transfer planning! I am so nervous to hear what will happen to me! Every missionary panics about this week (and I bet some of you returned missionaries know how that feels!). If I leave Crewe, I really want to be called to Wales! I heard it is really beautiful! Elder Methorst thinks I will stay and that I will train here! That would be SO scary; yet fun at the same time! Whelp we will see! I love being here in England and the UK; I have learned so much I've been out here! These 7 MONTHS have transformed me and helped me become a better person because of it! Also for those who are leaving out on their missions, always remember that the Lord wants you to be you! That is why He has called you to that specific place because the people there need YOU!
Thank you all for the constant prayers in my behalf for I can truly feel them as I go throughout my days! May the Lord bless you all in rich abudance!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey Everyone!
IMPORTANT NEWS: I can now email to you all! I know it is a little expensive to send letters snail mail so you can now email me! My email address is: terrencet@myldsmail.net. So if you would like to still send me snail mail, I would still love it! But to safe you some post expense you can email me.
So last Sunday was Mother's Day here in the UK! It made me think of my own mother and all the things she has and still does for me. Truly mothers are such a blessing in the lives of all of us! Also something else that happened on Sunday is that me and Elder Methorst taught Primary! It was my first time EVER teaching a Primary class! It was pretty fun and the children are so knowledgable about the Gospel. Truly future kingdom builders. But don't get me wrong it was tough to have them pay attention to the lesson being given. Still you can't get mad at them for their enthusiasm! :) I am enjoying my time here in Crewe and we see miracles everyday here. I love my mission and I cherish the people that I have been able to meet and associate with on the Isle of Man, Whitefield, here in Crewe and of course the missionaries here in the England Manchester Mission!
I bear witness that that this work is truly the work of Almighty God! I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ who invites us all to 'Come unto Him'. I love the people here in the United Kingdom and I cherish this time I have to serve them. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey everyone!
Before I begin I just wanted to leave a message for those who are on the Isle of Man who keep posted on my blog: I heard you all were at the temple! I am so sad that I didn't see you all! Also for those on the Isle who wrote me, I will write you all back today. Sorry for the late response but just know that I love you all!
So this week has been so filled with miracles and a little opposition. There was a day where me and Elder Methorst were talking to people on the streets and a few of them were really rude and crude. Another day we were walking and a few young people called us names but we dusted our shoulders of there foolish taunts Lol. Anyway we realized that something good must be around the corner! Then the next day, we were by the Czech family we are teaching! We went by and they were home! They let us in! We were able to catch up with them to see how they were doing. We then taught them about the Importance of the Book of Mormon. It started out a little bumpy with music playing in the background. But then Daniel turned off the music and Elder Methorst was prompted to read with them from the Book of Mormon and we read together with them; us in English and them in Czech. We read Mosiah 3:5-19. After reading that we asked them how they felt when we read it. They said they felt so peaceful and we knew then and there that they felt the Spirit of God! We then asked them to read together as a family and also we asked them if they came to know that the Book of Mormon is true, would they be baptized and they said YES! What joy we felt and the love we felt from our Savior and from that family!
I testify that the Book of Mormon is truly another witness of the Savior's divine sonship and ministry! I know this because I myself have read from this book and I cannot deny that it is, with the Holy Bible, the word of God! I invite you all to read from its pages if you haven't for yourself and see if it is from God! I love reading Moroni's testimony of the Book of Mormon in Moroni 10 and also Nephi's testimony in 2 Nephi 33. This I leave with you in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!
Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey everyone!
Before I begin I just wanted to let Erin, Rebekah and Sam that I received your letters! I will try to write you all by today if I can! Thank you for your letters and your words of sincerity and also your great stories!
So last week was so good! We were pleased to have a Multi Zone Conference in Manchester last Tuesday! Elder Stephen Kerr of the Area Seventy here spoke to us. He is such a Preach My Gospel guru! Most of his talk consisted of things written in Preach My Gospel which was so good! He also talked about the importance of keeping a journal! This was something that caught my eye! He talked about how that even the Book of Mormon was a pile of journals written by the prophets in the Americas! He went on to say about the different examples of people in the Book of Mormon who were poor record keepers and those who were top notch record keepers! I thought to myself: "What kind of 'record keeper' am I?" It made me realize that I need to write in my journal every day so that I can remember the things that happened to me these two years. So I am starting to change my ways and writing in my journal each night.
May we all try our best to be 'record keepers' in the things that happen in our lives whether it be a blessing that came true, things that would change your life, or just random things that happened in your day today. Thank you all for the love and the prayers offered in my behalf; I truly feel them every single day. Take care!
Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey there!
So last week has been so crazy! The reason why I say its been crazy is because last week I was sick for a few days! I guess I am just not use to the British germs that are here. Back at home, I would never get sick; I never even needed a flu shot! Its been so insane how sick I was but no worries though; I am not sick anymore which is so wonderful!
Tomorrow is Zone Conference which is going to be so good! It has been a while since we had a big Zone Conference! Whats going to be a big challenge is that we will have to get up at around 530am so that we can catch the train into Manchester then take the bus to the chapel where the conference will be at! The life of a missionary is truly a crazy one but I wouldn't have it any other way.
In my personal study, I've been studying this question that my mission president gave to me to study. That question is: How do I develop gratitude? I truly thought about that for a little bit. I realized that we can develop gratitude for what we have by prayers of thanksgiving, selfless service to others, and living complaint free lives. As we do these things, we see that even in sore trials, that we don't have it all that bad. We have our families, friends and blessings to enjoy! There are some people who don't have those things to enjoy so remember to constantly thank your Heavenly Father for everything you do have.
Thank you for your prayers and for the love you all show to me. I love you all very much and I hope you all have a great week!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

1) Me and Sister Loh (She is in my MTC group!)
2) Me eating at the Carvery!
3) Sister Hull and Sister Hanson who are also serving in Crewe
4) Elder Hough!

Hey everyone!
So I will be staying in Crewe for another 6 weeks at least! I am so glad that I am able to stay in Crewe because we have 7 new investigators here and we hope to get a few to be baptized by the end of this transfer. I will keep you all posted on how they are doing! Oh by the way, here is the Crewe address if you want to send me a letter:

It is crazy how time flies and that I've already been out for 6 months! I need to make everyday count and not waste my time! I have been truly blessed and have learned so much about myself in these months that I probably wouldn't have learned if I were at home. The work in this mission is hastening! We have 33 new missionaries who came today (Wednesday). I am so happy to be apart of this wonderful work! I am so grateful for my Savior and Redeemer and the love that he shows me and to all of God's children! Thank you for the constant prayers in my behalf; I truly need them. Until next time, keep smiling!
Much Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey everyone!
First let me just say thank you for constantly seeing what is going on in my life as a missionary. Also to let Brother and Sister Mabry know that I received your letter and wrote you all back. Also to let you know that transfers are next Wednesday and I do not know where I will go. So don't mail any letters to the Crewe address; if you want to send me a letter, use the mission address.
I cannot believe that this transfer has flown by!!! It felt just yesterday I landed in Manchester to go to the MTC! Last week was Multi-Zone Sports Day! It was so good to see some of my good friends in the mission and play sports with them. I was talking to some of my friends in my MTC group and they can't believe that we've been out for a while now! We've been out for 6 MONTHS!!!! This made me realize that I need to make every moment count whilst I'm here on my mission. I am enjoying my time here in the Crewe area and serving so many great people! Me and Elder Methorst now have 2 new investigators who are originally from the Czech Republic! Their names are Daniel and Barbara and they have 3 kids! They are so receptive to the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we hope that they will accept to be baptized mid March! We are ready for whatever the adversary is ready to throw our way.
I've been reading alot in the New Testament; mainly about the Apostles of Jesus Christ and their ministry on the earth. They were faced with hard trials and adversity from all sides but they never gave up; they relied on the Lord to strengthen them and He did. I realized that I need to rely more on the Lord especially in this work. I pray that all of you who read this blog will rely on the Lord to strengthen you. Thank you for your love and your prayers; I truly need them constantly.
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey everyone!
I hope all of you are doing fine! Crewe is just such an amazing place to serve and to be. It maybe a little rough around the edges but I love it either way. We had such an amazing miracle happen on Sunday for me and Elder Methorst and I love to share that with you:
We were going by some people we teach before we went to a ward fireside. Before we went into the chapel, we decided that day we would go to a nearby neighborhood and talk to some people about the Family Proclamation to the World. We began to tract or to door knock on a few houses before the fireside began. We knocked on a few doors and then we came to this one door. A woman answered the door and then I said to her, "Hi we're sharing a message on how families can be together forever through Heavenly Father's Plan!" It was pretty chilly that night and she invited us in to talk to her. We then properly introduced ourselves. Her name was Carol and she told us that she knew a little bit about the Church. She said that she has never been to our Church before but always sees the members go inside. She came in conatct with a few of the members before. We then shared about the Book of Mormon and then she told us that she had a copy but lost it. We gave her a copy, invited her to Church and she said she would think about it. We then had a prayer with her in her home. After we left we were prompted to give a prayer of thanksgiving for the miracle we have experienced. What a true tender mercy from the Lord!
Why I share that with all of you is that the Lord will always want to bless us. Some of you are going through trials at this very moment and think that the Lord has taken away that safe haven. I testify to you all that the Lord is always, always, ALWAYS there but sometimes we distance ourselves from Him. We need to draw ourselves to Him and turn our problems on Christ so that He can teach us. Now I want to say thank you for your constant prayers and for your love for me and for those who are serving in the Lord's vineyard. I love you all.
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey Everyone!
ITS SNOWING! It has been snowing since Thursday! Thursday alone we had 6 inches of snowfall! I also took some pictures that I hope will be posted to the blog. As you know as a missionary we can only access Church approved sites so its out of my power.
Lets get back to the work: So my Ward Mission Leader is so good! His name is Bro. Diamond and he is a convert for about 10 years! He was a practicing Jehovah's Witness and has an amazing conversion story to the Gospel. Every Sunday we meet to coordinate the missionary work here in the Crewe area. Bro Diamond was talking to us about how we can get people back to church and to get people to understand the Church even more. He came up with the idea to knock doors and to give out the Family Proclamation pamphlet to them. He also mentioned that it would be alot more effective if we get the members of the Crewe ward to help us out in that endeavor! I LOVE this approarch of the members here! I will keep you all posted to let you know if it goes well!
It is an exciting time to be a missionary in this work. I am privileged to be on the Lord's errand full time! My commitment to you all is to find ways to do missionary work. Pray for a missionary experience and I promise you the Lord will provide a way for you to get that. I love you all and thank you for your prayers for me; I truly feel them throughout the days, weeks, and months.
Much Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor :)

Hey everybody!
First before I began I wanted to let my Bishop Brad Barret and my friend Sheyla that I got your letters! Also Sheyla I sent something to you before I got your letter lol! I will respond back to you all hopefully by today!
So my new area is pretty good! It is cold like the rest of England and very wet as well! This weather makes me miss the hot dry weather back in Arizona ha ha! There are so many miracles happening here to me and Elder Methorst and of course some oppostion. I was reading in the book of Acts this morning on the ministry of the Apostles of Jesus Christ. I was blown away at how, through the power of the Holy Spirit, these men were able to speak with boldness and with courage about the Savior and His teachings. It was a big reminder to me that I must always strive to do the will of my Father in Heaven and be worthy of the Spirit of God to do the same as these Apostles in ancient times: to speak boldly and with courage the things pertaning to the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that as we strive to do what our Heavenly Father has asked us to do, we can speak as boldy and as courageous about the things pertaining to the word of God.
My mission president, President Preston, told us that the work is going so well around the world. He mentioned that we will have over 70,000 missionaries serving around the world by June 2013 and that a little under half of the applicants for missionary service are young women! If you all out there are about to put in papers for missions, let me know and keep me posted on where you will be serving! :)
Well until next time, God be with you till we meet again.
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor

Hey everyone!
As you all know I am in a new area called Crewe which is in Central England. This place is just so good: the ward here is so focused on missionary work and are so supportive of us here in Crewe! I am serving with Elder Methorst from the Netherlands! I actually served around him in Whitefield so I know him pretty well already! Also in this area we are serving with two sister missionaries: Sisters Hull and Hanson from the USA! We are really excited to be in this area and to change lives here!
I am also in a bike area so most of the time I am on bike or on foot! Missionary work is very demanding work but it is the best work you can do in this life! I love being the Lord's missionary here in the UK! I dont have that much time but I wanted you all to know that all is well and that I love you all! Also there was a typo on the Crewe address. It is actually:
14 Hightown Apartments
Flag Lane
Crewe, Cheshire
CW1 3AL
United Kingdom
I want to leave you my testimony that God lives. That Jesus Christ is the very Son of God. As we harken to the teachings of the Savior, we will one inheirit what He has which is eternal life and happiness. I leave this with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
With Love,
Elder Terrence M. Taylor
